In October 2024, Mainspring Arts launched two new Creative Wellbeing Groups in Halton and Kendal. Over the last six months, they’ve met for fortnightly art workshops to explore, experiment, make, create, and find community.
The project has been led and facilitated by Cumbria-based textiles artist Danielle Chappell Aspinwall - you can find out more about Danielle and her art practice on our Creative Wellbeing Groups page.
We are now presenting the groups’ work in two exhibitions, celebrating the art they’ve created and the process that led to it.
Each exhibition will have an opening celebration event. The events are open to all and free to attend, but please register to let us know you’re coming by clicking the buttons below.
The openings will be neurodivergent-friendly events. We will send out an info pack before each event, including photos of the venue and what to expect.
